October 25, 2003: ANSS Urban Area Instrumentation Deployment, 2003-2008

In September 2003, after evaluation of competitive bids, REF TEK was again selected by the USGS to provide equipment for the USGS/ANSS project for the next 5 years (2003-2008). This is a continuation of the original procurement of the Urban Area Instrumentation Deployment began in March, 2002.

Since May of 2002, REF TEK has supplied more than 110 Accelerographs, model 130-ANSS/02, for the USGS/ANSS project including the USGS in Menlo Park and Golden, University of Utah, University of Nevada in Reno, and the Hawaii Volcano Observatory (HVO).
