PRESS RELEASE
United State Geological Survey (USGS) continuous procurement of Integrated Accelerometer/Data Acquisition Systems for deployment in urban areas. In March 2003 USGS asked REF TEK to supply 46 more Recorders for this project. The station configurations included 3- and 6-channel 130-ANSS/02 Integrated Triaxial Accelerometer/Data Acquisition Systems, and 3-channel High Resolution Broadband Seismic Recorder, model 130-01/3.
The units ordered in March 2003 have been delivered to USGS in Menlo Park and Golden, University of Utah, University of Nevada in Reno, and Hawaii Volcano Observatory (HVO). Since May of 2002 REF TEK has supplied more than 110 Integrated Accelerometer/Data Acquisition Systems for the USGS/ANSS project.
